My Red Seal Exam is Booked! SkilledTradesBC Confirmation & Parts Technician Exam Breakdown

1. Official Exam Booking Confirmation (SkilledTradesBC)
It’s official! My exam booking has been confirmed through the SkilledTradesBC portal. Here is a screenshot of my official booking confirmation:

2. Parts Technician Red Seal Exam (IPSE) Breakdown & Weighting
To pass on the first attempt, you have to understand the official Red Seal exam blueprint. The Interprovincial Red Seal Parts Technician exam consists of 125 multiple-choice questions divided across four Major Work Activities (MWAs):

Notice that MWA C (Customer Service & Catalog Lookups) makes up over 40% of the entire exam! If you know how to identify parts efficiently, cross-reference part numbers, and handle customer queries accurately under pressure, you're already nearly halfway to the passing grade of 70%.
